Presentation: Gary Galo, Crane Chorus in the 20th Century, Part II

This year, Crane Audio Engineer Emeritus Gary Galo, continues his survey of Crane Chorus and Crane Symphony Orchestra performing 20th century music, from archival recordings made between 1956 and 1982. Brock McElheran will be heard conducting excerpts from Orff's Carmina Burana, the featured work of this year's Lougheed Festival concert. Other works included in this presentation will be Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms, Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky, Walton's Belshazzar's Feast, Honegger's King David, Poulenc's Gloria and Preger's Cantate. Conductors, in addition to McElheran, will include Helen Hosmer, Stanley Chapple and Nadia Boulanger.
