Dr. Jaimin Weets earned his M.A. in Bioarchaeology from Arizona State University and his Ph.D. in Archaeology from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Weets has excavated in the U.S. Midwest, Southwest, and Eastern Woodlands, Denmark, and studied bioarchaeological collections in Ireland and from Vanuatu in the southwestern Pacific. His geographic areas of interest include Europe, North America and the Pacific Islands, with a focus on prehistoric human migration, human dentition, osteology, mortuary behavior, chemical sourcing of cultural materials, and demography.
