Professor Emeritus of Music at the Crane School and has been on the faculty since 1971. Although recently retired from full-time teaching, he will continue to teach studio clarinet. Dr. Woy earned his B.M. degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and both a M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Dr. Woy is principal clarinet of the Orchestra of Northern New York and a charter member of NUMA (New and Unusual Music Artists), a resident faculty contemporary music ensemble.
