Processional Information

It is a longstanding tradition for colleges, universities and learned societies to send delegates to a presidential inauguration, dressed in the academic regalia of their respective institution.  

Delegates processing should plan to bring their own regalia and arrive by Noon when the robing room opens. Processional line-up will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. 

Registration is required by April 12 for all delegates marching in the processional.

Faculty and staff are invited to march in the processional. Those processing can choose to wear academic regalia (not provided) or business attire and arrive by Noon when the robing room opens. Processional line-up will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Each student organization is invited to send one representative to march in the processional. Student representatives should wear clothing showcasing their organization or club or may also wear business attire. Students processing should arrive by Noon when the robing room opens.
