The State University encourages you to exercise your constitutional right to vote and support the political party and candidate of your choice. You should be aware, however, that if your position is one which is funded by federal monies, any political activities you pursue may be subject to the provisions of the Federal Hatch Act. Also, please remember that if you participate in any political activities, you must not participate in them during your work hours and they must never involve the use of State equipment, supplies, or services of any kind.
