This program is designed for working and aspiring educators. Prepare for your initial certification (Birth-Grade 6 or Grades 5-12), or complete professional certification requirements. This program is offered entirely online.
The M.S.Ed. Educational Technology Specialist is a fully online 30 credit-hour graduate program. Upon completion of the program, students with an existing NYS certification will be recommended for an initial NYS Educational Technology Specialist certification. Throughout the course of their studies students will hone their interpersonal and technology skills and work collaboratively with K-12 faculty and staff to create and manage highly engaging learning environments.
Leads to certification in Grades 1 to 6, with an option to add Birth to Grade 2 certification. Designed for future educators, no matter your academic background. This program is now 100% online!
The M.S. in Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) is a fully online 30 credit-hour graduate program. Courses in this program emphasize the creation and management of highly engaging in-person and online learning environments. Students will engage in hands-on, minds-on learning in courses that are designed around research and applied best-practices from a variety of fields, including Learning Sciences, Education, Adult Learning Theory, Curriculum & Instruction, Digital Literacy and Educational Technology.

This is a fully online program that skillfully combines adolescent grade level content with practical, research-based skills in how to effectively teach math in a variety of contexts. This fully online post-master’s advanced certificate program can be completed in just one summer, full time. This is a great option for experienced educators looking to pursue professional development and expand their skillsets. Students who successfully complete the program have the option of pursuing an additional teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities at the grade level consistent with their initial classroom teaching certificate.
The Advanced Certificate in Learning Design is a fully online graduate credential that prepares you for learning, instruction, and training in a variety of contexts (e.g., schools, universities, and the workplace). In this 12-credit (4-course) program, you will experience hands-on, minds-on applied learning using educational technology as you design, create, implement and evaluate learning experiences that address real-world problems with research-based educational solutions in any setting.
