Departments are compensated for the time that liaisons devote to their duties. For any new courses, the department receives a $500 "new site" stipend per CHS course/instructor. The department receives a $250 "maintenance" stipend for any previously approved and continuing course which is being renewed (approximately every three years).
Liaison stipends are transferred to each specific department in one transfer at the end of the academic year from the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education. In order to initiate transfers, the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education must receive completed site visit report(s) and a Faculty Liaison Completion Form for each course under review.
