A NYSFAAA Scholarship Opportunity

For more than 25 years, NYSFAAA has awarded scholarships to students from member institutions.  During that time, more than 100 students have benefited from these funds.

NYSFAAA is awarding $7,500.00 in scholarship funds to students across all 5 sectors of education.

  1. 2-Year Public Institution: $1,500.00
  2. 2-Year Private/Proprietary Institution: $1,500.00
  3. 4-Year Public Institution: $1,500.00
  4. 4-Year Private Institution: $1,500.00
  5. Graduate/Professional Institution: $1,500.00

Submit applications to the SUNY Potsdam One Stop by September 27, 2024. This will allow us to complete the Financial Aid section and submit by the scholarship application deadline (10/11/24).

Note: When students sign the application, they are giving the One Stop permission to release their academic and financial aid information to the Scholarship Committee.  They are also giving the committee chairs permission to access NSLDS to obtain information about the applicant’s federal loan indebtedness.  Finally, the student certification will allow the publication of the names of the students who are selected for this award.
