- All students work with CYM faculty in daily master classes.
- String performers participate in string sectionals and chamber music groups in addition to orchestras.
- Pianists receive individual lessons, coaching, and group piano instruction in the electronic piano labs.
- Vocalists perform in choral ensembles and work in small classes as well as master classes.
- Woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists rehearse with a band twice daily, perform in like instrument ensembles and attend master classes with artist faculty.
- A wide variety of elective courses are available to all campers such as Alexander Technique, Music Business, Music Theory, Conducting, Music History, Rhythm, Jazz Improvisation, Acting and more!
- Recreational activities are available in the afternoon.
- The 2018 CYM Concert Series will include performances by Darmon Meader and the All Star Big Band, Susquehanna String Band, Orchestra of Northern New York, Northern Symphonic Winds, Potsdam Brass Quintet, Aria Reed Trio and our distinguished faculty and staff.

Crane Youth Music
Lessons with faculty are available to campers on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent on the availability of the instructors. Lessons $35 per 1/2 hour. Register for lessons when you sign up for CYM!
