Every Child Matters - Flag Installation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept. 30th) recognizes the thousands of Indigenous children forcefully removed from their communities to attend institutions throughout North America. Indigenous children faced abuse, neglect, and forced assimilation. At least 10,000 never returned home. The Native American Student Association is creating an art installation for the third year to honor the children who never returned home, honor the resilience of those who did, and affirm that Every Child Matters.
