The Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence recognizes model students who have integrated academic excellence with other aspects of their lives, to include leadership, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, entrepreneurship, or career achievement. These students may have already received recognition from local, state, national or international organizations, so please include that information in the nomination process.
Nomination packets should be sent electronically to Jean Centrella (morinjm@potsdam.edu) no later than Monday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. Each nomination packet must include a letter of nomination, the nominee’s resume and no more than two additional letters of support. Incomplete packets or late materials cannot be considered.
In order to be eligible, a student must graduate between June 2018 and May 2019. Each campus may nominate one candidate for each 1750 total AAFTE for the 18-19 year, with a minimum of two nominations and a maximum of fifteen nominations. That means SUNY Potsdam can send two nominations to System Administration for review.
