The Business Administration department invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach Accounting at the undergraduate level. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is vital. Applicants are expected to teach 12 credits a semester (fall and spring) in coursework. The department offers the following required and elective accounting courses: ACCT 201 Principles of Accounting I, ACCT 202 Principles of Accounting II, ACCT 450 Fraud Examination, and ACCT 360 Federal Individual Taxation.
Applicants will also advise students and serve on department and college-wide committees. Service to the department, School, and College is expected, as is scholarly activity appropriate to rank. Teaching responsibilities may include online, hybrid, evening, weekend, and/or off-campus course instruction.
Required qualifications include a CPA Or Doctorate/PhD in Accounting/Business Administration or related field with a focus on accounting. ABD Doctoral Candidates may also apply and must have at least one semester of teaching experience at college level.
