The College is creating a pool of temporary faculty, part time and full time, to draw upon as needed. While candidates from all academic areas are welcome to apply, specific disciplinary areas of interest include: Accounting, Anthropology, Art, Biology, Business, Public Health and Human Performance, Economics, English, Environmental Studies, Exercise Science, Finance, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, and Teacher Education.
Candidates may be asked to teach daytime, evening, weekend and/or distance courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level, depending on the specific needs of the academic departments. Opportunities may exist for teaching in the Watertown area, specifically in Teacher Education and Business.
Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline is required. We are seeking candidates who possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues and who have demonstrated a commitment to creating, fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom. Preferred qualifications: doctorate in the appropriate disciplinary area and experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
