The NYS & CSEA Partnership has announced a two year Applied Skills Certificate Program that provides CSEA-represented NYS employees with focused, up-to-date classroom training. SUNY Potsdam will be participating in the Electrician and Plumber/Steamfitter skilled trade certificate programs.
The certificate programs will be held in Cortland, NY for Plumber/Steamfitter and Albany for Electrician. Classes will be held tentatively from January 2023 through May 2025.
If you are interested in participating in the program, complete the application that was sent by email from Melissa Proulx in Human Resources no later than September 27, 2022 close of business.
Please note that completion of the application form does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Applications will be reviewed and qualified candidates will be required to complete an interview. Selections will be made through a joint labor-management committee.
