The School of Education and Professional Studies invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in the Department of Elementary Education to support offerings in their Childhood/Early Childhood (C/EC) and Early Childhood (EC) Education programs (Birth-6, and Birth-2) at the Jefferson Community College (JCC) extension site in Watertown, New York.
In addition to teaching, the incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining school partnerships in the Watertown area, organizing field experience placements for pre-student teaching and student teaching, and analyzing and reporting on assessment data for the Elementary Education Department. Service and scholarship appropriate to rank are an expectation of this position.
This is a ten-month position; additional compensated summer employment may be offered to support program coordination. Online, evening, weekend, and/or off-site teaching may be required. This position offers an excellent leadership opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders, including PK-12 partners.
