The Department of Theatre and Dance is accepting on-line applications for an Associate Professor/Department Chair beginning fall of 2020. The chair will collaborate with faculty and staff to further realize strategic and curricular goals in the department.
Applicant must be an effective leader, an advocate for the arts, and have an ability to develop administrative structures to support the department and Performing Arts Center and advocate with upper administration to increase support for the academic and production needs of the students, faculty and staff of the department.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to collaborative learning and teaching strategies in a student-focused, undergraduate liberal arts department. Ability to plan and execute recruitment and retention strategies for the department and college is essential.
