SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will present a faculty recital of piano chamber music to celebrate the birthdays of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert, on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
The performance will include Mozart’s “Kegelstatt Trio,” and his “Quintet for Piano and Winds,” as well as works by Schubert for various vocal combinations.
This concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Pianist Gary Busch will be joined by fellow members of the Crane faculty for the recital, including Lauren Becker (horn), Margaret Chalker (soprano), Donald George (tenor), Anna Hendrickson (oboe), Nicholas Kilkenny (bass), Julianne Kirk-Doyle (clarinet), Carol Lowe (bassoon), Lorraine Yaros Sullivan (mezzo-soprano) and Shelly Tramposh (viola).
