As we are aware, areas across New York State are being impacted by a severe winter storm. Although the North Folk College Express buses have already departed and are en route to Potsdam, we understand that some students are not able to make it back to Potsdam due to travel cancellations caused by the winter storm.
As it is the last week of classes, we will continue to have classes as usual on Monday, December 2. We ask that any student who cannot make it back to campus, contact their faculty members immediately to indicate that you are unable to make it back to Potsdam telling them when you are expected to return. Faculty are being asked to accommodate students and develop alternatives to completing assignments and any course requirements.
Students and faculty are encouraged to monitor campus notifications for any additional updates pending weather conditions. If there is an update, we will communicate with campus via email and Rave text alerts.
SUNY Potsdam urges students to trust their judgement, especially if it seems unsafe to be on the road.
