The Physical Plant is accepting on-line applications for an Energy Manager/Sustainability Coordinator (EMSC).
Duties include, but are not limited to: managing energy budgets, applying for grants, purchasing natural gas and electricity, managing load management systems, assisting in Combined Heat and Power Plant scheduling, managing Emergency Demand Response Program, submitting air permit reports, preparing reports to SUNY and DASNY, completing STARS, EO4 and EO18 reports, coordinating energy and sustainability related projects, and implementing special energy projects as assigned. The EMSC will work closely with Facilities and Operational units of the Physical Plant to review, design and construct documents to increase energy efficiencies and reduce energy costs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field AND a minimum three years’ experience in energy budgeting, commodity procurement and industry budget development OR Associate’s degree AND five years’ experience and demonstrated professional application (professional certifications, affiliations, or equivalent) is required.
