Student Affairs is working to develop two resources to support student leadership development: a leadership speaker directory and a listing of faculty/staff who might be interested in serving as an advisor for student organizations.
The goal of the directory is to compile a listing of numerous topics related to student leadership that members of the faculty/staff are willing to present to various student leadership groups on campus. Suggested topics are listed in the survey, but we are very interested in the creative ideas faculty/staff might have as well! The directory will be made available to student leaders who would make contact with you if there was an interest in scheduling a workshop.
The listing of faculty/staff interested in serving as student organization advisors would work similarly. If a student organization is looking for an advisor, we would provide the listing to them and they would reach out to discuss the possibility with you. We are asking for your areas of interest/past participation in clubs as a student to help facilitate matches with the student organizations.
