Information regarding the next generation of Banner was announced by email that was sent to all Banner users. A few important highlights are noted below.
Monday, August 6 is the go-live date for Banner 9 Admin Pages, currently known as Banner INB/Banner 8.
All Banner 9 testing needs to be done by July 27 in order to ensure enough time to address any problems that may arise.
• You can access Test Banner 9 and Test Banner 8 via the Green Page at https://ibanner.potsdam.edu/.
• We have setup a web page with additional resources to help with the Banner 9 transition (see Helpful Banner 9 Resources URL on Green Page)
• Ellucian also has Banner 9 resources which you can access through your Ellucian Hub account on https://ellucian.okta.com/
They would appreciate feedback on your Banner 9 experience, good or bad. You can reply to the email which will go to all Banner users via the banner9-info@lists.potsdam.edu listserv or send an email to Lori Blaha at lori@potsdam.edu or any of the Banner programming team.
