The Public Health and Human Performance department invites applications for a full-time (10-month), Visiting Assistant Professor position to support its online Master of Science in Public Health and a residential Bachelor of Science Public Health degrees.
Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supporting retention and recruitment activities, academic advising, participation in department meetings, contributing to the assessment and accreditation activities of the School and College, professional service and scholarly work appropriate to rank, and serving on thesis/graduate project committees.
Requirements for the position include an MPH, DrPH or a PhD in Public Health or a closely related field; experience working in the public health prevention field; and a demonstrated ability to conduct community-based public health programming and/or research appropriate to the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.
