The Public Health & Human Performance Department seeks adjunct instructors to teach within our undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Public Health. Adjunct instructors develop, review, and improve syllabi, plan student-centered instruction, develop, and administer appropriate assessments, communicate with students, department, and college personnel, and ensure all relevant learning resources are available to students. This position announcement may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
Other duties include develop, deliver, and review course syllabi and relevant supporting materials; create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning; create and administer assessments relevant to course student learning outcomes and departmental guidelines; provide timely feedback for all submitted student work, and align course instruction and activities to stated student learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess an MS in Community Health or Public Health and an MPH or a Ph.D. in a related field.
