The goal of Emerging Leaders is to provide students who have demonstrated strong leadership potential with an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and help promote student giving and volunteerism at SUNY Potsdam.
The Emerging Leaders program provides students with an opportunity for involvement throughout their time at Potsdam and as such is an excellent way for students to meet new people, develop their leadership skills, and network with student leaders, faculty/staff and alumni.
Since it is impossible for us to find every student who might be a good fit for this program, we are asking for your help in identifying potential candidates. We would appreciate it if you could send us the name(s) of any students you feel could potentially excel as leaders at SUNY Potsdam and/or who are already strong leaders on campus that you believe would be interested in becoming Emerging Leaders. We will then send the student(s) a letter, letting them know that you nominated them and inviting them to apply for consideration.
