The Lougheed Center for Applied Learning (LoCAL) seeks a part-time Study Abroad Coordinator. Reporting to the Dorf Endowed Director for Applied Learning, the Study Abroad Coordinator is responsible for study abroad advising for students, coordination of all faculty-led travel courses, assisting with the management of significant scholarship funding for study abroad, supporting faculty engaging with SUNY’s COIL program, and other duties as assigned.
This is a half-time term appointment at the SL-2 Staff Assistant title. The Lougheed Center for Applied Learning is telecommuting in spring 2021 per NYS and SUNY Potsdam COVID-19 response plans, and the Study Abroad Coordinator will have the option to telecommute or work on-campus while those response plans are in place. During the pandemic, SUNY has ceased international study until after spring semester 2021. The Study Abroad Coordinator will use that time to plan for post-pandemic programs.
