SUNY Potsdam Introduces New North Country Overnight Visit Opportunity for Nov. 2 Open House 

SUNY Potsdam will add a NoCo Overnight visit opportunity for regional students, following its last Fall Open House, on Nov. 2 and 3. To learn more, visit www.potsdam.edu/visit.

SUNY Potsdam is proud to welcome prospective students and families to campus for upcoming fall visit events. Now, the College is adding a new opportunity for local students to stay overnight and experience all that campus life has to offer.

“Our Open Houses are the highlight of the semester for us, as we get to see so many new faces destined for success here. We’re excited to add a new opportunity for our North Country students to stay overnight and experience the excitement of campus life, explore all of our programs, and soak up some fall beauty in our historic college town. We are so excited to welcome visitors from near and far to see SUNY Potsdam, and meet our incredible students, faculty and staff for themselves,” said Director of Admissions Terry Francis ’97 & ’00.   

The next Fall Open House will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Visiting students and families will get a comprehensive campus tour that showcases the outstanding campus facilities, including the Maxcy Hall Athletic Complex, The Crane School of Music, the highly-rated dining facilities and much more. The academic and student services fair gives students a chance to meet faculty, staff and students from every academic department and other programs of interest, like residence life, financial aid and athletics.

SUNY Potsdam has added a new NoCo Overnight visit opportunity for high school seniors and transfer students from the North Country region. Following the Nov. 2 Fall Open House, participants will get to stay in one of the residence halls, enjoy meals in the campus dining facilities, and join in on campus activities with current students, before departing after brunch on Sunday, Nov. 3.
