Welcome all for a Sustainability Day celebration tomorrow, as SUNY Potsdam dedicates our first campus wind turbine, in support of our green energy goals.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
The wind turbine is located adjacent to the Potsdam Partnerships Center and the new HEARTH facility, which remains under construction, at 190 Outer Main St. Parking for this event will be limited, so please arrive early or plan on walking to the site.
The turbine was produced locally at Ducted Wind Turbines, founded by Clarkson University faculty member Dr. Ken Visser.
Join us at this event to celebrate this milestone in our campus sustainability efforts and to learn more about how we will be able to use the turbine as an educational tool for both our campus and our community.
