Resources for Canadian Citizens in Ontario
Ontario Disability Support Program
ODSP offers:
- money to help you and your eligible family members with living expenses, including food and rent
- health benefits, including prescription drugs and vision care
- employment support to help you find and keep a job or advance your career
Ontario Disability Support Program Employment Support
Through ODSP employment support, you will work with a community service provider to determine what support you need to help you get and keep a job.
Developmental Services Ontario (DSO)
Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) is the access point for adult developmental services funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) in Ontario. There are 9 DSO locations across the province.
March of Dimes Canada: Passport Program
The Passport program is a reimbursement program that helps adults with a developmental disability participate in their community. You can either receive the money directly or purchase your support and services through an agency. get temporary respite for your caregiver(s).
CASE
CASE is a national member association for the supported employment sector.
We work with employment service providers, employers, community allies, and stakeholders to promote the employment inclusion of persons experiencing disability. We strive to facilitate full participation in the labor force by offering service providers resources, expertise, and support.
The MentorAbility Initiative
This initiative helps persons with disabilities all over Canada. It also helps employers and service providers across Canada. Persons with disabilities, employers and service providers work together.
