Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report
The Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act was signed into law in November of 1990. Title II of this act was amended and renamed in 1998 as the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act. This law mandates that institutions receiving Title IV federal funds disseminate crime statistics for certain offenses that occurred on the campus, adjacent areas of the campus and specified campus-controlled property for the previous three calendar years. The purpose of this report is to provide our current and prospective students, faculty and staff with campus safety information including crime statistics and procedures to follow to report a crime. This report also complies with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Re-authorization 2013.
The Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report contains the alcohol and other drugs information required by the Drug-Free Schools and Campus Regulations. These required elements include standards of conduct, legal and campus disciplinary process sanctions, health risks and information about drug and alcohol treatment or counseling programs.
The Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report is published in compliance with the United States Code Section 1092 (f) the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act and code of federal regulations.
