SUNY Potsdam Bear Bus Program
Note: The final round-trip Bear Bus will depart for summer break on May 17, 2019 and return students to campus for the fall 2019 semester on August 24, 2019.
Beginning in Fall 2019, there will be a new travel option. Students seeking to travel downstate (Albany, Rockland, NYC, or Long Island) for break will be able to purchase tickets through College Express. Learn More

- This is the preferred way to book tickets from New York City to Potsdam. Student discount rates are available.
- Bus terminal: Port Authority, NYC. This route makes a bus transfer to Adirondack Trailways in Syracuse.
Adirondack Trailways
- Book by visiting www.trailwaysny.com or calling 1-800-776-7548
- This is mostly used for travel to Syracuse, Albany and New York City. Student discount rates are available.
- This bus will drop students off and pick them up on our campus; however, please confirm times and drop-off locations with Adirondack Trailways before booking your trip.
