Mission Statement of the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Association
Building upon the proud history and tradition of the State University College at Potsdam, the Association will strive to cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships on behalf of the College, work to engage members of the Potsdam Family, serve as ambassadors for the College, work to ensure all alumni and friends are informed of College developments and happenings, and provide opportunities for members of the Potsdam Family to gather and celebrate their Potsdam experiences and create new memories.
Alumni Board of Directors
Originating over a hundred years ago, the Charter of Alumni Association was signed on October 27, 1910, by the Regents of the University of the State of New York. The founding board members were: Julia E. Crane, Henry C. Curtis, Freeman H. Allen, George W. Sisson, Albert Rutherford, Elizabeth Reynolds, Roy B. Stowell and Frank L. Cubley. The alumni association has grown to engage and currently serves over 45,000 SUNY Potsdam graduates nationwide.
