The Office of Graduate & Continuing Education seeks a motivated professional Staff Assistant, SL-2, (Graduate Recruiter) to lead recruitment efforts for our online and face-to-face graduate programs in Education, Management, Music, and Community Health.
The Graduate Recruiter will be responsible for all phases of the graduate recruitment process. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and results driven team player with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospective students and a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Required qualifications include communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues and who have demonstrated a commitment to creating, fostering, and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom. Additionally, a bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills, and ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends are required.
Preferred qualifications: Graduate degree or some graduate level coursework. We are seeking candidates who have engaged in professional development activities to enhance knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion and have worked collaboratively across various departments in fostering success of underrepresented groups and a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
