The Research Foundation for SUNY (State University of New York), a private, not for profit organization, invites applications for a Project Staff Assistant for TRIO Student Support Services (SSS). This position is grant-funded through the US Department of Education. TRIO provides support to first-generation, low-income, and disabled undergraduate students.
Some responsibilities include: Provide administrative assistance; process and track purchase requisitions and payment vouchers; maintain and monitor budget spreadsheets, assist with coordinating program activities which include evenings, weekends and travel.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and up to two years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience; strong verbal, written and communication skills; familiarity with MS Excel; understanding and appreciation for inclusion and ability to work with diverse populations and identities.
