Finding yourself at SUNY Potsdam is an immersive experience, with on-campus housing designed to contribute to your growth.
Living on campus puts you within walking distance of everything SUNY Potsdam has to offer... plus lots of opportunities to forge friendships and find yourself, with programming and themed housing available to fit everyone’s needs. We offer academic year housing, which means that you can choose to stay in your room from the time you move to campus in August until when classes end in May, provided you remain a registered student at SUNY Potsdam.
We have everything from classic residence halls, to suites, to townhouses with full kitchens, living rooms and patios. All residence halls offer high-speed Internet, free laundry, kitchenettes, open common areas and study lounges.
SUNY Potsdam requires students who enter as new first year students to live on campus for the first 2 years or 4 semesters, with guaranteed housing for all four years.
The entire community is invested in ensuring your living environment is safe and clean, your experience is supported by resourceful staff, and your educational goals are made more readily attainable through your living arrangement.
SUNY Potsdam prides itself on providing its students with an exceptional living experience. See for yourself!
