What is the Behavioral Evaluation Committee?
The Behavioral Evaluation Committee (BEC) is a group of faculty and staff who meet to discuss and respond to students in apparent/potential distress and determine possibility of harm to self and/or others in campus community.
Mission
To provide assistance to students who are exhibiting concerning behaviors. The main goal is to intervene with these students as early as possible to prevent crisis situations before they arise and to ensure the safety of the student and the campus.
