An important update regarding PACES catering services. As part of ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance your experience, PACES is transitioning from the online Cater-Trax system to a new platform, Spoonfed. This change will take effect on Monday, Sept. 30, at which point Cater-Trax will no longer be available for placing orders.

Renowned television producer Chuck Lorre is used to wowing audiences, and his visit to his alma mater today was no exception. During a public talk with hundreds of campus and community members in attendance, Lorre pulled out a surprise $1 million check and presented it to SUNY Potsdam President Dr. Suzanne R. Smith—bringing applause, smiles and tears.

SUNY Potsdam and Jefferson Community College are pleased to announce a new articulation agreement allowing students to easily transition from earning their associate degrees at the Watertown campus, to wrapping up their baccalaureate studies at Potsdam. The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance will present Amy Freed’s play, “The Beard of Avon,” at the Performing Arts Center’s Proscenium Theater, from Oct. 25 to 27. Author Amy Freed said in the New York Times: “There’s a lot in ‘The Beard of Avon’ that has to do with my own completely insane love affair with actors and theatre… [It’s] very much a valentine to the whole theatrical experience at its silliest and most rewarding.”
