Department of Public Health and Human Performance
The Department of Public Health and Human Performance offers 2 majors (Public Health and Exercise Science) and six minors (Wilderness Education, Community Health, Sexual Health, Fitness, Nutrition, and Therapeutic Recreation).The Exercise Science major focuses on the scientific and applied study of the human body, including prevention of injury and performance. Using an interdisciplinary approach, students will learn the research behind and the application of sound exercise and physiology principles.

Core Writing Seminar SLOs
CW Description Core Writing (CW) seminars help students improve their skills as writers and develop an effective writing process. Students will grow as writers by building effective reading and writing toolkits. They will also reflect on their existing assumptions about writing and their writing habits. Students will think about the role writing plays in their lives and communities, as well as become familiar with the expectations of academic writing.
