The State University of New York and SUNY Potsdam are committed to providing options, support and assistance to victims/survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and/or stalking to ensure that they can continue to participate in College/University-wide and campus programs, activities, and employment.

Political Activities
The State University encourages you to exercise your constitutional right to vote and support the political party and candidate of your choice. You should be aware, however, that if your position is one which is funded by federal monies, any political activities you pursue may be subject to the provisions of the Federal Hatch Act.

The State University of New York at Potsdam has established an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to oversee the responsible use of animals in university research and instructional activities.
SUNY Potsdam Announces Historic $5.25M Gift for Applied Learning
The State University of New York at Potsdam has received the largest gift commitment in the College’s 201-year history. Donald (Hon. ’54) and Kathryn Kofoed Lougheed ’54 have pledged $5.25 million to support applied learning initiatives at SUNY Potsdam. With a combination of deferred and outright gifts, the new commitment represents the largest donation the College has ever received.
