The Student Success Center (SSC) Student Award Committee requests nominations for the SSC Student Award funded through donations from the SSC staff and other interested faculty and staff at the College. The intent of the award is to provide financial support to encourage the persistence and continuing success of a student who has made use of the services within the SSC. It will be awarded annually to an undergraduate in economic need. Nominee Criteria

The Physical Plant is accepting on-line applications for a Facility Operations Assistant (FOA)-1.  This posting is to create a pool of FOA-1 applicants. FOA-1s perform a variety of routine unskilled and semiskilled manual tasks related to the operation and maintenance of State-owned buildings and facilities, the surrounding grounds, and the vehicles and equipment used in maintaining these sites. Incumbents in these positions may be required to assistant the Grounds department or other Physical Plant areas and/or functions. 

SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Theatre and Dance and the LoKo Arts Festival will showcase “Slanguage,” Developed by Jo Bonney and Universes Ensemble, and “Shattering the Silence: 3 original one-act plays” by theatre majors Ryan J. Hutchins ’19, Jenna Clute ’19, and Reese Reed ’19.

In a new online study, the clinical psychology researcher examines COVID-19 responses and stressors on the campus and surrounding areas, seeking to go beyond anecdotal answers and social media posts.

The SUNY Potsdam community is helping to make badly needed protective gear and living space available to medical workers and at-risk individuals on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
